METALWORKING

METALWORKING

We expertly work the metal, drawing on the tradition and experience handed down over the centuries to create unique objects.

In fact, many finishes are obtained with the skillful use of the hammer, the chisel or the embossing, but above all with the passion passed down from generation to generation. The sheet thus processed is then brushed or polished and treated with a special transparent protection that prevents the natural oxidation of the metal.

How is hammered metal different from smooth metal? The metal retains its physical properties (conduction of heat and electricity, plasticity and mechanical resistance, ductility and malleability) while the visual and tactile perception varies with the hammering, bringing an increase in value that we can translate as an anthology, a florilegium. The special hammering process results in a different visual and tactile effect, in which the whole human being is called to relate to an evolving, dynamic, perfectable world, like the man himself.
